Can't write in Synopsis

Strange problem here.
I can’t write in the synopsis space. Whatever I write I get something like this: &H./sda]{
Even if I paste something in there it gets distorted.

BUT if I copy it and paste the strange signs somewhere else, the text shows up normal.

How do I get the bad deamons out?

Are you using 10.6? There’s a font issue with Courier in 10.6. Search the threads and you’ll find an explanation of what to do to sort it out.
