Capitalization after "vs."

I don’t know if this is a bug exactly, but Scrivener automatically capitalizes the next word after “vs.” as if it were the start of a new sentence, which I think is generally inaccurate.

Auto-capitalisation is never going to be as smart as a human, unfortunately - you’ll find that Pages does exactly the same thing. (Hasn’t the period been dropped from the end of “vs” these days anyway, just as it has disappeared from “Mr” and “Mrs” over the past twenty years or so?)

All the best,
Keith

Has it?? Not in the publications I read I guess . Certainly it’s still there in any of the big magazines/newspapers. But I guess as a long-term language trend it makes sense, the word definitely being more sleek and Apple-esque without it.

Ah, it’s a US/British difference, it seems. From my beloved Mind the Gaffe by R.L. Trask:

So excuse my Englishness.
