Capitals in first paragraph

Have opened several projects. I set up Preferences to follow my needs, and all projects (old or new), except one, follow them. The exception is my first project where suddenly every new Text document under Draft or Research starts the first paragraph with ALL CAPS, while the second paragraph works fine. I cannot find a way to turn this off (is it some kind of HEADER that needs to be turned off?). Since I have a lot of text documents in this project, is there a way to solve this without transferring everything to a new project? Thanks for your help! I’m using Scrivener for just about everything I need to track in my life, besides writing. :exclamation:

Sounds like you might be in script writing mode. If I didn’t run in terror every time I approach that option I could probably tell you how to get back to “normal” mode. Being headless, I do have a valid excuse though.

You’re in scriptwriting mode - I bet your word count has disappeared from the footer, too. Go to Text > Scriptwriting and turn Script Mode off.

Hope that helps.
All the best,
Keith

Thanks guys: it worked! I feel good that I have been the recipient of one more instance of your “good customer care”.
