Text is flushed left by default in Scrivener - at least in Windows. How can I center my text to be in the middle of the page so the same format crosses over to IOS. (not center align, but centering story in the middle of the page) I set my tabs to center but when I open it in IOS its squeezed into a very thin column.
I use Mac, but I have three options up on the dashboard. Left, center and right justify. Unless you are talking about something entirely different. Good luck
The use of tab stops in conjunction with the iOS version is going to be a little awkward at best, considering these two limitations:
The text engine has no capability for modifying them; no ruler type construct or other mechanisms that could be used to build manual control of them into the formatting palette.
Being based on static measurements (inches, centimetres, whatever), what is “centre” on a “page” as viewed on a full desktop screen is very likely going to be a messy position on an iPhone or even an iPad. That’s probably why you are getting an unusable result.
I don’t know if there is a “default” tab stop setting, so to speak. But you can freely copy and paste ruler settings from one paragraph to another, so that would probably be the easiest way of reverting a paragraph. See §15.4.1, The Ruler, in the user manual PDF; final paragraph on page 150.
