Certain Font Styles For Certain Parts of Header / Footer

Hey all! Been a joy to use scrivener. Its auto-saving feature is delightful.

A request here to stylize certain parts of the header without affecting the other. ie, italicize the center chapter title, but not the page numbers. currently Italic or bold will apply across the entire header or footer, across all page types, and if we italicize a chapter title, page numbers will be too.

There are unique header / footers for page types, why not font styles for each box? :smile:

If you click the “?” icon in the top right corner of the area where you would modify the headers and footers, you will find tips on formatting the text. Since these are simple plain-text fields, there is some Markdown and similar that you can use.

Keep an eye out for those help buttons, they often have useful tips like this! :slight_smile:
