I checked the “overwrite formatting for text and notices” box. How can I change the settings which the compiler is using?
I don’t want to use the box “as-is”, since I find the auto formatting better, however, I like to change 1 or 2 things. E.G. I like to change the font sizes for parts of my text
Basically the lower half of that Formatting pane is where you set up the formats themselves. In the top half you choose what will be displayed, and in the bottom half, how they will be displayed. So for example to boost the body font size, just click into the example “lorem ipsum” text and then use whatever method you prefer—Shift-Cmd-+ works, just like in the main text editor. Actually all of the main formatting commands are available from the menus, as well as the Format Bar.
What is this for, the Web? If so I’d say it’s usually best to leave that kind of stuff up to CSS, after you’ve compiled. Depends on what you’re doing though.
You could try a two-column single-row borderless table. That would be a bit of a pain to work with if you have a lot of them, though.
