Change footnote to plain text

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to do this with an imported rtf file?

Footnotes in Scrivener are marked much like any type of formatting, such as a range of italic characters. Thus, you can select text that should not be a format, and simply toggle the footnote marking off for that text. That also means you can use Paste and Match Style, which is intended for stripping formatting.
