Changes to the scenes (in the Binder file) are displayed in

Dear house software scrivaner
Changes to the scenes (in the Binder file) are displayed in a general chapter.

I’d like to propose an implementation of large software Scrivener. I think it is of general interest.

When I write a scene and then I make changes, I would like that the scene was inserted directly in the chapter along with your modifications.

That way, you can see in real time the chapter with modified without resorting to the print preview.
The same thing would happen if i made changes directly from the chapter, modified should be made directly to the scene of reference.

In this way it would save time and be sure to have both the scenes that chapters always updated and without mistakes.

If the idea is valid it is available for further study.

Have you tried Scrivenings mode? Pretty much does what you want when you select more than one document in your project. If you have the default setup of Binder Folders as chapters then select the folder containing the document you are editing and switch to Scrivenings mode (that’s the icon next to the corkboard icon).

Thanks for your feedback. I will be working to try the function that you suggested.
See you soon.

I have analyzed the function scrivenings. For maximum functionality and practicality should, in my opinion, be added a fourth button on the toolbar, next to the three present:
“View Image” - “See the notice board” - “View the structure” + “Mode Scrivenings”.
It would be enough to assign to documents in the Binder letter “S” and displayed in the editor is divided into two parts:
Top pane: displays the document along, that the document Scrivenings.
Lower pane: displays the selected document and made active in the Binder.

In summary:

  1. mark in the binder documents with the letter “S” (As with the Template)
  2. select (to make it active in the lower pane of the editor is divided into two), one of the documents marked with the letter “S”
  3. Press the fourth button in the toolbar we created and marked with a large letter “S”.

Three steps and see the changes in the document directly in the long document called Scrivenings.

The same thing should be done in reverse order: Scrivenings change in the document and appear in the box below the modified single document, the one marked with the letter “s” in the Binder.

Editor top the long document containing all selected documents in the Binder.

In the second editor pane the document you want to edit and do the same in the upper pane changes that appear directly in the document that we have long called general documents Scrivenings.

Scrivenings functions are already there, they should be made visible in a different way. Everything would be easier, immediate and under direct visual control.
Grateful for having read me, thank you.
