Changing page numbering on .epub

Hi everyone!

I’m using Scrivener 3 and I can’t seem to figure out how to change the page numbering when compiling to .epub. I want my numbering to start on my introduction page, but it keeps starting on my front matter pages (copyright, dedication and ToC pages). I have spent a lot of time searching all the different options in ‘compile’ but I can’t find how to change it anywhere!

I am writing my book for Amazon Kindle and Paperback so should I just compile to .doc then upload to Kindle Create to make these changes? I could do this, but it’s not ideal, as I really like how beautiful the ebook looks when compiled to .epub from Scrivener. It’s part of the reason why I bought Scrivener in the first place.

Can anyone help me out please??

An epub book doesn’t have fixed page numbers because they are calculated depending on the font size chosen by the reader.

Thank you, Lunk! I was hoping to just start the number later in the book, on the introduction page. But this is not possible either? I understand the total number of pages in the book varies on the ereader, I just thought that even ebooks start numbering after the ToC

I think they usually start at the beginning. I checked some of the epub books I have and they all do.
Does it matter? There are no page numbers in an epub ToC.
