Chapters Not Showing UP After Importing[BUG LOGGED]

Hello, I just started using Scrivener so I’m not sure if this has been mentioned but this is one of the first things I noticed.

After I imported a story, about 102,000+ words (saved in RTF format), I noticed that my first chapter would appear in bold, but as I began separating them in to chucks, I noticed that could not find the rest of my my chapters as labeled in the original (ie, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, and onwards). I generally knew where my my chapters started and ended so it helped a bit, but I wasn’t sure if it was a bug or if it was because I just had so many words. But there was definitely a strange pattern.

  1. For example, let’s say I am searching for Chapter 13. I pressed Ctrl+f and do a search. I typed in ‘chapter 13’ and apparently, it ‘found’ ‘chapter 13’ but no where was it visible on the screen like in the screen shot below (highlighted in Yellow).

As marked, Chapter 13 was supposed to appear there but it’s not there. Although, there is a one spaced line to separate it, I have found that it was not always the case when I was trying to locate other chapters.

  1. However, when I would paste it into its own chuck, ‘Chapter 13’ would show up with the pasted information.

What’s more weird is that once I have pasted Chapter 13, ‘Chapter 14’ woulds up at the top of page, but nowhere was Chapter 15 onwards.

Thanks for this report.

 You’re welcomed.
