What’s a good site for finding images of people you can use to represent your characters? I think a visual reference would be good for my latest project.
I’m interested too if you find one! So far I’ve been using mere celebrity pictures.
Not exactly what you want, perhaps, but I often find characters – their mannerisms, the way they walk, the way they talk – while sitting on a bench in the mall and watching people pass by. (People are too self-conscious in bars and waiting rooms.) I find that mental image of their behavior more helpful than a static picture.

IMDB.com (the Internet Movie DataBase) has face shots for actors. Narrow your search by searching for a similar genre movie and scanning the cast list. Can be useful, especially if you click through a few times to find other movies stars have worked and who they’ve worked with to come up with something a little less mainstream or familiar.

If you have any relatively modern RPG games laying around, the character builder interfaces in them is often extremely handy for coming up with unique faces.[size=80][1][/size] 
It works better if you have an idea of where you want to go with the character’s look, though some do have a randomiser button.
