Clipping service dialog-box

The dialog box that comes up for naming the clipping document produced by choosing the Scrivener service—Scrivener: Make New Clipping (unformatted)—is misaligned. The buttons are falling off of the bottom of the dialog box, and the button names are the wrong text color, making them unreadable.

[See attached screen capture]

In subsequent uses, Scrivener’s services commands didn’t work at all, producing spinning beach balls followed by nothing, or an error dialog from within OmniOutliner.

What OS are you on?

My guess is Tiger - HUD panels aren’t provided on Tiger so I had to roll my own, and that looks as though it’s accounting for the fake title area.

Regarding the freezes, could you please take a look on the Console (~/Applications/Console/Console.app) and let me know anything that comes up there; likewise send me any crash reports if you have any (if you’ve already submitted them via the automatic reporter, then thank you - I have a bunch to go through as soon as this initial release is out of the way).

Thanks!
Keith

Also: Is Caractor the British spelling for Character?

Yea, Tiger: 10.4.11

I’ll post the reports later.

After installing the proper Scrivener 2.0 release, the service commands seem to all be working properly.

The dialog boxes still need fixing, of course, but the functionality seems to be fine. I’ve attached the Scrivener Crash log just in case there’s anything to be seen by the trained eye. Or if you happen to be short of useless text files at the moment. I try to be of assistance in any way I can.

Please try re-downloading - this should be fixed in the slightly updated version I uploaded this afternoon.
Thanks,
Keith
