Cocoa HTML export super dirty

3x the file size it needed, had to scrub it clean before use.

Always been the way. Use MultiMarkdown or Pandoc instead, much cleaner output

The next major (paid) update of Scrivener will allow you to compile to HTML via MMD even if you haven’t written your text in MMD (internally converting rich text to MMD before piping it through MMD→HTML).

it will be very good if the same can be done for MMD->DOCX

Idea for workflow
Write in rich text, internally convert it to MMD, filter it with pandoc-citeproc (custom processor), piping it through MMD-DOCX and you solved the citation hurdles.

Keep the good work!

There is no .docx exporter for MMD. There is one for Pandoc, however…

The Pandoc one is actually pretty good; it will even let you specify a Word template on which your exported document will be based. Saves a lot of time messing around with styles after the fact.
