Comment default formatting

So I would like to have my Inspector Comments to use line spacing for my own purposes. While this can be done via the command “covert to default formatting”, but is there a way to not have to do this? Am I missing something?

Thank you for the help in advance!

This is the closest existing thread I could find to ask my question. I saw answers over in the MacOS sub-forums, but I’m on Windows, so I didn’t think it made sense to reply over there.

When I add a comment, I’d like the default text to not be selected – preferably with an additional “return” so my comment is on the line below AND I don’t have to remember to UNselect the timestamp. At a minimum, I would like to remove my name from the default text since I am the only one who sees my Scrivener projects. According to the MacOS sub-forum, the answer I’m expecting is “no you can’t”. But I find that asking these questions often gives me insight into how others work around such things.

I still want to be able to configure the text color in the comments. The limitations of text coloring – no option at all, in some cases – make the Dark Theme wholly unusable for me. (And that was a big reason I was impatient for v3 to release!)

Has anyone found “work-arounds”? Or should I march over to “wish list” and add these wants?
