Compile dialog box floating?

the “fixed” compile dialog box are sitting on the top of the document. It covers the whole text. So, if you change anything in the Compile Options, you cant see if its correct or not, until its compiled. With “bad luck” you have to repeat this compile process many, many times. Would be much better if the compile dialog box is a floating box/window

I’m not really sure what you mean. If you change something in the Compile dialogue, nothing will happen in the main window under it anyway. Could you explain further?

All the best,
Keith

I know what he tries to explain. He thinks that the compile dialog is a real-time compiler. If he changes a compile preset he thinks that the change is show in the scrivener editor in real time. He hasn’t understood that the compile process is necessary to get a final document. In simple words: he thinks that Scrivener is a WYSIWYG editor in compile mode.

Hope I explained that better…
