For some reason I cannot compile Multimarkdown -> RTF since I upgraded to the latest version. Oddly, when I was running the beta version, the compiler worked fine!
Now the MMD->RTF outputs HTML code. Attached is a sample of what happens.

Oops. It would not allow me to attach an RTF file to the post.
Strange - I can’t reproduce this at all. (To attach an RTF file, zip it up and attach the .zip file.)
Scrivener relies on mmd2rtf.pl to convert MMD to RTF - do you have an external MMD installation at all? I wonder if that is messed up somehow?

It is possible that I have another MMD installed somewhere, but as I said in my post, this error was not happening when I was using the beta version of the current Scrivener release.
