Compile Formatting Question

Here’s my current issue. For one of my compile formats, I can choose the formatting I want for sections which are as-is and with a page break and no heading (as seen on the right in the comparison screenshots (My Bookfunnel PDF). For another formatting, I cannot (On the left, My DOCX Proof). Why?

Because you haven’t added that compile layout to that compile format.

Thanks, Bob. Can you point me to where to do that?

Go to Compile, open the Compile format you’re using, and check if the layout is there in the “section layouts” pane. If not, add it and format it. If it’s already there, that means either the documents don’t have the proper section type or you haven’t attached that section type to the layout. Attach is at the bottom of the Compile screen after selecting the format but before opening it.
