Hi. I have looked in the videos and I have looked in Scrivener>tag>compile. I can not locate the video tutorial for Compile (Scrivener 3). Could anyone tell me where to look for the video tutorial, please? thank you. I am using Windows 11.
Look for: Getting Your Work Out, available in four parts:
Video Tutorials - Literature & Latte (literatureandlatte.com)
Hello Kevitec57. Thank you for the link. I see what has happened. When I did my own search, prior to posting my request for help, I went into the section which says “Windows”. I clicked on the heading which says “Getting Your Work Out” - but nothing happened. There was no active link.
I have followed the link which you supplied. It goes to the same heading, and works. However, scrolling upward, I see that I am now in the section for “Mac”.
I haven’t yet looked at the video, so I am hoping that it will be relevant to me.
Do you know how to raise this as an issue with Scrivener, please. It would be much more helpful for Windows users to see the Compile information is the “Windows” section.
Fingers crossed that the video is for both Windows and Mac.
Regards
Fizz
Mac Scrivener 3 was released before Windows Scrivener 3, which is why most of the tutorial videos use the Mac version.
The basic Compile principles and most of the settings are the same between platforms, which is why we didn’t feel we needed to create Windows-specific videos.
Hello kewms, thank you for your comment.
To clarify what I meant - I followed the path which is for Windows, which led me to a dead end.
It would be helpful if when following the Windows path and reaching the subject headings, that instead of there being no link, the link could be provided. I had no way of knowing that I should go into the Mac section and look at the video there.
While it may be obvious to some people that the Compile principles and most of the setting are the same between platforms, I didn’t know it. Which is why it would have been of great help to me to have a link that worked.
