Compile to Pages

It would be nice if both Scrivener and Scapple could compile directly into Apple’s Pages. I am figuring that it hasn’t been done due to licensing issues or something like that. But it’s still something to wish for.

This needs to be sent in as feedback to Apple, as encouragement to make their office formats publicly documented to third-party developers, or to provide built-in converters at the OS level (as they do for .doc/x, .odt and so on). Do note that Pages does a fairly good job of opening .docx files. If you compile to that format with Scrivener, the transfer should be very clean.

Yeah, I knew the issue was more with Apple than it was with lit’n’latte.

Docx is the obvious workaround…but it’s just not Apple. Particularly with editing features and such, things get kinda wonky.
