Scrivener 3.1.5.1, Windows
Title says most of it: I have two consecutive a paragraphs styled by named paragraph styles; 1st with no spacing; 2nd styled with space after 10pt.
I manually set the spacing (override the style) on the 2nd to 4pt before and after. Looks OK in the editor, but in the Compiled PDF output the space after is still 10pt.
There are no styles with the same names in Compile Format Styles, thus no overrides, AFAICT
Does this sound familiar to anyone? How do I fix it?
Tried:
- Changing paragraph + character style to paragraph only; no effect
- Setting No Style then re-applying the named style; no effect
- Remove ALL spacing on those a paragraphs – 2nd still has 10pt space after in the Compile output, but none visible in the Editor
Also sometimes the spacing changes don’t even appear in the Editor; how weird is that?
UPDATE The only way I found to change the output appearance was to define an entirely new style with the required before and after spacing; but that shouldn’t be necessary.
