Compile-to-print bug just showed up. Help, please!

I was working on a scrivener file, formatting it for print. I did about 10 compiles, adjusting margins and so on. When I finally thought I had it perfect, I clicked to compile-to-print one more time, and now all it will do is compile one, blank page. None of my settings have changed with regard to “Include” (all are selected).

I compiled to .mobi fine after this, just to make sure the manuscript was still working.

I restarted Scrivener.

I restarted my computer.

Nothing is working. Can someone help? I’d like to get my books into PDF for Createspace. I’ve done this before with another manuscript without this problem.

Hello? Please? Getting desperate.

Don’t know if I’ll be much help here, but there are some questions that might enlighten those who can:

Assuming you were adjusting compile settings to do this…

  • Have you attempted to save your current compile settings as a preset, and then chosen a different (but appropriate) preset to see if the compile will produce your book with those settings?
  • Check the Compile “Contents” tab: Are all the relevant documents listed there? Are the Include check-marks checked?
  • Still under Contents: Is the drop-down just above the list of documents showing the Draft/Manuscript folder where all your writing is?
  • In the “Formatting” section is “Text” checked for the appropriate kinds & levels of documents in your binder?

Hopefully, your answers will lead someone to help you figure this out.
