compile to RTF not showing right breaks and margins

Hi, I’ve tried the compile to RTF and it doesn’t format properly. One page has only one letter per line, another breaks in the middle of a sentence. I checked the compile information on the tutorial and it looks like it is supposed to work. When I tried to upload the PDF it was too big. The doc contains 4,361 pages for 3,924 words

I’ve had the same problem- esp when using the Novel template after upgrading. It repeats the title page, and then starts off a new word on a new page each time.

Unfortunately, on the known bug list, the compile formatting issue is still present. It has IMPROVED greatly. In the sense that it’s keeping more of my formatting now, but not everything. This is what the bug list has to say on the subject:

There is no option to select different line spacing

Compile Font & Formatting
The Compile feature isn’t actually formatting the text according to the user-selected settings. I’ve tried to compile using both the Manuscript format (a pre-defined format) and a format I created myself, just altering the font face and the size. Both PDFs resulted in the exact same document, which looks to be just the text without any sort of formatting at all.

Page and line breaks

1. Page breaks don’t show up. Whether one chooses the Page Break Before option in the Inspector or the Compile Menu (Content Tab) or the Text and Folder Separation Page Break option (Separators Tab) in the Compile Menu, the final version won’t have any page breaks at all. 2. Empty lines disappear when exporting to rtf.

Page numbering, indents and double spacing
Implement page numbers on the printed copies. Also, first line indent and double-space need to be fixed
