Hi
i suddenly was confronted with blank spaces in compiling to word.
It took me a while to find out how this was generated.
I found out that marking up the first word or line of a text (section) and adding a comment is the reason why these blank spaces were generated. and it only happens when a previous text is also generated. When only the text with the comment is chosen to compile nothing happens (see files)

What version of Scrivener?
Also, what are the settings in the Scrivener -> Preferences -> Sharing -> Conversion pane?

Hi,
I never used ‘comments&footnotes’ before and was surprise when this happened. First I did not understand how this was caused.
See screenshot for my settings. Is there anything I should change?
i am using Scrivener for Mac 3.1.5 (12258)
Please uncheck the “use enhanced converters” box in the Conversions pane. We’re testing a new converter that may handle this better.
