Compiling ebook for an ipad?

I was just wondering if Scrivener supports compiling an ebook for the ipad? I’ve managed to get my document compiled as an ebook and can view in the Calibre ebook library software on my mac? But it doesn’t seem to work with Ibook on the ipad.

I don’t know what else to say, but if you need me to clarify the step by step process of how I compiled it. Let me know.

Hi,

Yes, and in fact there should be a video tutorial on this topic here:

literatureandlatte.com/video.php

In short, though:

  1. Compile to .epub format.

  2. Locate the .epub file in the Finder.

  3. Drag the .epub file from the Finder into the “Books” section in iTunes.

  4. Sync iTunes with your iPad (ensuring that the option to sync books is ticked).

All the best,
Keith

Okay I did that. Well the thing is when I go click on chapter 1 or two my text does not appear , it just comes up with a red box and a question mark? So I was wondering if I had converted it wrong maybe?
