Compiling to Markdown

I’ve written a project in Markdown. I’d like to compile to markdown.

Is compiling to plain text the most efficient way to do this?

If you don’t want to convert the document names of your binder items in to headings, then yes, plain text is the way to go, since you presumably want to take that file and feed it into some process or app that reads plaintext markdown.

But there’s no harm in experimenting. You might want to see what happens when you use the markdown output, just to see what is possible the next time you start working on something you’ll write in markdown.
