I’ve just investigated this a bit more. It only seems to do it on my laptop screen, not on the separate monitor I also use - so maybe it’s something to do with screen resolution? The laptop uses 1280x800 resolution.
I’m not sure if I’m following what the problem is. If the binder is very large it will thus take up a lot of space to display it. I’m not sure if that is what you mean though—how literally do mean “entire screen”, as in the menu blots out the task bar and every available pixel from top-left to bottom-right—because that sounds a bit glitched. Maybe a screenshot would help clarify. You screen resolution is not beneath our recommended minimum.
I created a blank project to do the screenshot and discovered that it didn’t do it with that - the problem seems to be my wordiness: I’d chosen a lengthy name for one of the folders, forcing the context menu to expand over, yes, the entire screen to accommodate it.
Thanks for the swift reply, though. I can’t imagine what I was doing before Scrivener.
Ah, yes that can happen, I know what you mean now. We need to put a limiter in the menu title generation so that very long titles do not cause this to happen. I’ll make a note of it; thanks.
Glad to hear the software is working well for you on the whole, though!
