I upgraded to the new version yesterday and three times today it has crashed as soon as I enter even one word and immediately says it is going to close. On re-opening it appears to re-build everything and then back up but takes a long time. Then as soon as I start to type it immediately closes. Very worried as I have a big project - the only one I have on Scrivener. Help please.
I have tried opening up one of the backups instead and also followed the recommendation to save it in a different place. Same thing happening. The program has become unusable.
Could you please post the crash report here, or send it to us? (The text that appears in the “Scrivener has crashed” dialogue.) Also, what version of macOS are you on?

I am having the same issue. It crashed so many times today. And opens a different document after restarting.
