Convert Multiple NonBreaking Spaces to Single

Currently the option to convert multiple spaces to a single space only applies to normal spaces, not to non-breaking spaces. I’m assuming this is by design, so as not to ruin intentional formatting with non-breaking spaces, but I find that most of the time I’m running this convert on text I’ve copied from elsewhere, and for whatever reason the other program has chosen to use a non-breaking space. Thus the convert doesn’t work and I’m back to the traditional find/replace route. It’s not a big deal, of course, but it’s a bit of a shame as I look wistfully at that menu option.

Could there be an option to include non-breaking spaces in the conversion?

Hmm, the trouble is that non-breaking spaces have a different function, so having that menu option replace them might be problematic for some uses, I’m not sure.
