This is a minor request
I use the convert/transformation feature very often (UPPERCASE) within my projects. I was wondering if it would be possible to have some icons for use in the toolbar? It’s not a big deal, though…

I’m afraid there are no plans for toolbar items for these commands (it’s impossible to provide toolbar items for every command), but you could assign a keyboard shortcut to them. If you go to your System Preferences and select the “Keyboard” icon, you will find a “Keyboard Shortcuts” pane that allows you to add keyboard shortcuts to application menu items. Select Scrivener as the application and enter the menu command exactly as it appears (e.g “To Uppercase”) and choose your keyboard shortcut. Bear in mind that Scrivener has a lot of keyboard shortcuts, so if you want to use one already in use elsewhere you will need to override the command that already uses it too.
At least this way you will be able to transform the selection without having to navigate the menu, and it should be quicker than using the toolbar, too, as your hands don’t need to leave the keyboard.
