Copy and paste from combined text mode[ADDRESSED]

I’m not sure if this is a bug report or feature request, but I’m unable to do a full copy and paste from the combined text window. When I hit Ctrl-A, it only selects all of the text in the current document, instead of everything that is displayed in the window. There is no way to select the text across document boundaries, which would be very nice to do for getting word validations and copying text into emails.

I think it is designed that way, in order to combine it all to copy it you have to compile the text.

Yes, unfortunately you can’t select all combined text. I’m definitely interested is removing this limitation in the future; however, it’s a considerable effort. So, I can’t see this being implemented in the 1.0 time-line if we do decide to change the design.
