I would have a look at the thread above, which goes into a few different options that might work better for you. There are indeed numerous problems with the copy commands for HTML. I’d reiterate that in most cases, Markdown is way better than anything you’ll get having a rich text editor convert its formatting to HTML, and as I note above, with Scrivener you don’t even have to write with Markdown to benefit from it (though you certain can).
