"Copy as <$include:xxx>"?

I have a long document with two different layout structures.

I would like to replicate some sections (and their children nodes) from the 1st layout to the 2nd. Of course, I can use the Copy To command.

But to avoid having to maintain two sets of pages, I would like the destination pages to contain just a <$include:Doc_from_First> line, effectively linking to the source pages, instead the original text. How can this be done?

Unfortunately the iOS version of Scrivener does not support the <$include> placeholder. You can of course type them in, and they will work fine once you get back home and compile from the Mac or PC, but they will just show as text if you run a test compile on mobile.

As to the rest of your query, I’d need more clarification on what you mean by that, as you seem to be answering your question as stated: isn’t the answer to put <$include…> into the other outline node by itself?
