I made a table and I want to copy only the text that is found in one of the columns and I am unable to only copy the text without copying the entire table format with it. Any suggestions?
Use Paste and Match Style instead of standard paste. You can also select single columns by holding down the Option key while selecting. Note that when you paste column selections like this, you’ll want to create some space below the line you wish to paste, otherwise each line will appear at the beginning of subsequent paragraphs. That’s a little hard to explain, but easier to see what I mean once you do it accidentally.
Thanks. The paste and match style worked although I had to adjust the spacing a bit. Not a big deal.
