Corel Word Perfect

Word perfect was the first word processor ever used. I was in second grade and the blank page and blinking cursor instantly pulled at my creative strings. I believe I wrote a story about clouds. I wish I still had that file.

Although I mostly prefer to write by hand (using calligraphy pens, pencil, and felt tip pens), it’s often more efficient to just type things from the beginning.

I used Word Perfect all through my undergraduate degree, but I’m ready to give Scribner a try.

For fun you can change Scrivener’s composition mode to imitate Wordperfect’s White on blue screen.

Thanks for the tip!
