I am new to the forums but have been using Scrivener for a few months. First off, I love the program and I’ve already completed a project using this great tool for writersl.

I have a question about using the Cork Board. I use it a lot to visualize structure and I was wondering if there is a way to assign colors to the notecards (not just pushpins) and also to highlight text in the headings or body of the cards OR assign colors to the text inside the card?

Many thanks in advance for your advice.

Hi, you can change it so that the cards themselves take on the label colour by selecting View > Index Cards > Tint Cards With Label Color.

I’m afraid you can’t highlight or colour text inside the cards, though, as the text is plain text rather than rich text (the cards couldn’t handle rich text in part because they need to calculate the line placement quickly).

All the best,
