Apologies if this has been suggested before, (or is a default option) but I haven’t been able to find it if it has!
When I am using the corkboard, I often want to arrange the index cards in groups. (For instance when arranging a large number of scenes into what may subsequently form separate chapters). Ideally I’d like to place a gap, between this and the next group.
I’m guessing that to disable the ‘align to grid’ system of the cards, would be complex and interfere with the folder structure. My proposal is somewhat simpler - namely the facility to customise individual cards so that they matched the corkboard background; although it wouldn’t be essential that this was a pixel-perfect match.
Additionally, judicious use of these ‘ghost’ cards could assist users who would like to arrange their cards in columns, and might even help to provide some limited timeline facility.
