Hi, I am trying to organize a project- in Corkboard view when I move a card to a new place it just jumps right back to where it came from? What to do please to make cards stay where they are placed at least long enough to reorganize- HELP! Thanks

It sounds like you need the corkboard in free-form mode. It would be worth reading up on it in the Manual (under the Help menu), sections 4.2.2 and 8.2., and see also this video.
