courier font and custom layout for Kindle

Hi

I am writing a programming language textbook using Scrivener for the Kindle. Most of the text is “normal”, so the default font is fine, but there are some examples of program code which need to be in courier or courier new font. The examples are displayed in courier new font in the Scrivener editor, but when I compile it to .mobi format, the courier font for the code disappears and the code is displayed in the same font as the normal text.

Please help! I really need courier font in the .mobi file for these examples!

This isn’t currently possible, but it will be in the next update, which should be out next week. In that update, anything in Courier or Courier New will appear in Courier on the Kindle.
