cover page issue when using "Compile Draft"

Currently, my novel is composed of many very small chapters (approximately 100 three-page chapters). Each chapter is a Scrivener file (not a folder). When I compile my draft, I have it checked so that the titles are displayed for files (since the file titles are the chapter names). This works very nicely. However, I also have a cover page (and a few other special pages) that are also Scrivener files. The only thing is that I don’t want the title for these non-chapter files to get included with the draft. My question is this: Is there a way to suppress the title for a few particular files but include the title for the other files?

I’ve been using Scrivener for a week now… A pretty remarkable tool!

Hi,

Thanks for the kind words. I’m afraid the answer is, not at the moment. In 2.0 you will be able to determine whether files include the title by level in the binder, but that’s not possible currently. So you would either have to add the titles manually, or put your chapter files inside folders just to supply the titles for now.

All the best,
Keith
