Running Windows 7 Home Premium, using the beta install that expires Dec. 12. Created a multipage document with no problem, but when I dragged-and-dropped a scanned PDF (1.3 meg in size), it closed the software. When I reopened, the PDF was in Research as I placed it, and viewed fine.
Could you email the PDF as I’m not able to duplicate this?

I had the same situation. I chose
Research > Add > Existing Files…
Then I just selected a PDF from a folder. Immediate application crash. The file was only 64k.
I restarted and tried again. Same result.
A third time, I tried a different PDF. No crash, but nothing was attaced. The item under research opened a blank RTF.
