So i searched these, but really didn’t see a solution. getting a bit frustrated with Scrivener randomly upon open saying my license has bee rejected, removed or whatever…and I have to go in and enter my license key again.
Also annoyed with thinking hey…lets see if there is an update that might fix this, only to have scrivener disappear when I click on check for updates. I’m till on 3.0.1.0 from April 2021…
this has been discussed here quite a lot with the Windows version of Scrivener. Some sort of wicked problem, may be unresolved I guess, with their licensing vendor which affects a few people. Always the advice on licensing issues is to contact their Support directly. See the Literature and Latte web site.
If you’re using Scrivener 3.0.1.0, please go to our downloads webpage and download the trial version for Scrivener 3 for Windows.
There’s a bug in version 3.0.1.0 that doesn’t have it get the most recent update when a user goes to Help > Check for Updates. But, downloading version 3.1.1.0 from the website and installing it will patch your Scrivener. It should also resolve those deactivation issues.
