I would like to create a shortcut that works like this: when you press the key combination ALT+A, the letter “â” must be produced on the Scrivener editor. Is that possible? Thank you.
I’d like something similar, but for long Character names, some with diacritical marks.
You can auto type text replacements on an iPad.
Is there a way to do that in Scrivener on Windows?

One method you could consider is to use the enable substitutions facility. Tools / Options / Corrections and select the Enable substitutions box. If you use the main menu / Edit / Character map as part of your name building then you could just type name1 or whatever you decide and have it replaced by the long name with diacritical marks.
