Creating chapter notes?

I have a document with multiple chapters. I see how to create footnotes within a chapter and endnotes at the end of the entire document. How do I create notes at the end of a chapter within the document?

For footnotes within a chapter and endnotes, you need to use both inline footnotes and inspector notes, deciding at compile time which you want to become footnotes, and which endnotes.

When it comes to putting your “endnotes” at the end of a chapter, rather than at end of the whole document, that is something, in my experience, you need to sort out in your word processor as Scrivener puts them at the end of the document. I don’t know how you’d do that in Word or LibreOffice in Windows as I’m on a Mac and use a different word processor in which it is fairly easy.
