Hey,
The ctrl+apple+d dictionary pop-up stopped working in Scrivener and all other cocoa apps that it is supposed to work in. Anyone have any idea why this happened?
I use it a lot so it’s a shame that it’s gone.
Thanks!

Works for me. Sounds like it might be something specific to your system, since it’s happening with all Cocoa applications?
I guess so. Any advice?
Go to System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts. Scroll down the list and you’ll find an entry for Dictionary, which when revealed should have an option for “Look up in Dictionary”. You can reset your shortcut here. You might have installed something that has a system service that uses that shortcut; or maybe the Mac just went bonkers and lost it. Before you change it, visit the Services menu, and scan the list to see if anything has stolen it. Scrivener does not use that shortcut for anything, so it must be something else.
Fixed. Thank you very much, I was missing that feature a lot. I wonder why it got lost.
