Ctrl-F Find/Replace Window opens in the most inconvenient spot imaginable...

…right over the center of the text window–which means it covers the text I am searching for(??), requiring me to drag it off to the side every. GD , time, to see the results. :open_mouth:

How in heaven’s name is this the default functionality?

As I recall, this did not happen on the Mac version. I could reposition the Find window off to the right somewhere (where it should be!) and Scrivener would remember that position when I opened it the next time.

Please, for my sanity and the safety of my pets and loved ones, is there any way to fix this on Windows?

Thanks,
RW
