When the cursor is positioned at the left margin, it becomes much lighter and harder to see than when it is elsewhere on a board. Is there a way to make its darkness the same regardless of its position?

What are of the user interface are you referring to as a margin? Whatever the case, I can’t think of anything that would change the visibility of the cursor, for me it is the same no matter what letter I position it before. If I type in ‘hello’ and move the cursor over before the ‘h’, it looks the same as when it is in front of the ‘e’.
