Cursor jumps in script mode

Not sure if this is a feature or a bug, but…

In script mode, if you press return in the middle of a formatted paragraph, the paragraph splits, the cursor jumps to the end of the second one, and the text is highlighted. Now if you hit Return again there is no response, and any other keypress deletes the second paragraph. So you have to reset the cursor with the mouse or arrow keys to carry on typing.

This is rather frustrating when I want to open out some space in the middle of some existing text, which by habit from other programs I do by hitting Return a few times. But in Scriv the first Return splits the paragraph, the second one does nothing, and once I have moved the cursor to a blank line, Return opens the format menu. Is there another way to open up some blank space?

…any response to this? It’s proving to be a real time-waster.

Aye, looks buggy. Sorry for the delayed response. I’m filing the report, so we’ll see what we can do!
