I want to use a custom tag ‘book’ so I can manage what gets included into a book in LeanPub.
I’ve defined Metadata book.
Now I use
<$custom:book>
but it does not get replaced.
Output: (With metadata rendered)

Ideas? What version of Scrivener are you using? If it’s the v. 3 Beta, you should be posting in the dedicated Beta Testing forum. If you’re not using the Beta, then you could try it to see if that changes things. The more information you give, the more chance that people will be able to help you.

Sorry, I thought it was clear from the forum I’ve used, it’s Windows 1.9.16.0. I’m writing a book and don’t want to depend on BETAs always available so I’d prefer this working in 1.9.16.0 - I’ve read the manual and the manual for the special variables.
