Custom Meta-Data Colored Text

I created a custom meta-data entry and selected “Wrap Text” and “Colored Text.” It was set to Red. I then added that column to the Outline View.

After entering in several entries, I decided I didn’t want the Colored Text and wanted it to display in black instead. I unchecked “Colored Text” in the Meta-Data Settings dialog and clicked OK. The title of the custom meta-data in that custom meta-data box went from red to black, which is as anticipated.

However, the Outline View continues to show red text for the custom meta-data item no matter how many times I verify that the “Colored Text” checkbox is unchecked in the meta-data settings dialog. Anything new typed in is red and any existing red entries remain red, even if they are deleted and re-entered.

This is on an Intel machine.

Thanks for this. It turns out the cell in the outliner is remembering its colour. I’ve fixed this for 2.0.1, which I’ll try to put out before the end of the month. In the meantime, closing and reopening your project after un-ticking the “Color” button will refresh things.
