Apologies if this has been covered (I searched ‘highlight colour’ and ‘customise highlight colour pdf’ before asking): I’m wondering if—while reading PDFs within the main Scrivener editor, as opposed to an external editor like Preview or Acrobat Pro—there is any possibility of changing the default highlighter colour from that lemon yellow? Under Format>Highlight there is an additional menu that seems to suggest the possibility of options, but I can’t see a way to access any options.
It’s a bit OCD on my part, but I’m hoping to be able to highlight my PDFs in the same colour that I use to highlight text documents, and to keep a colour-coordinated system happening across all document formats. Apple Preview doesn’t allow highlighter customisation (but it’s palette of colours are neither that same lemon yellow nor the colour I’ve been using), and at the moment I don’t have Acrobat installed, though I’ve had it in the past and will install it again if it comes to that. I just like the idea of using as few tools as possible whenever it’s an option.
Excuse me, ETA: Using Scrivener 3.0 on a 15" 2014 MacBook Pro, macOS High Sierra v. 10.13.2.
